US Elections 2006 - The Beggining of the end? Let's hope so!

“The American people have sent a resounding and unmistakable message of change and a new direction for America.” So it seems that democrats will take control of the House of Representatives, and if things continue to go well, also the Senate.

Finally, some light at the end of the tunnel! Let the pain end! Although things will most likely continue more or less in the same fashion in the short term, and the damage has already been done over the last 6 years all over our beloved planet (including the US itself), it is clear that Bush will not be allowed to continue his uncontested, authoritarian-like regime. Good news indeed.
